Sudden darkness

Noticed it had gone dark and looked out of the window as this bank of cloud arrived overhead, moving south east at speed. The sky was soon completely covered.

Clumpy cumulus



There were some clumpy cumulus clouds around from mid-afternoon. Towards sunset, one looked like a big fat fish.

Rain again

It was the wettest April for ages, and it's still wet. I'm not complaining; the water table badly needed a top up.
