Late sunrise

I don't often see the sunrise these days but this was late, as it's almost the shortest day. It had been raining overnight, hence drops of water on the window. The stratocumulus was clearing as things warmed up.

Bright new day

After two days of unrelieved greyness, Saturday began with gold and blue, and patches of cirrus and cirrocumulus.

As predicted, a fine, dry day - but chilly. Just a few scraps of cumulus in an otherwise clear sky.
