Late afternoon, and the sun tried to shine.

It looked deceptively bright and spring-like today, with bright sunshine and lots of cumulus humilis and fractus about.

Sunshine and snow showers

Some big cumulonimbus clouds passed overhead, shedding snow, sleet and hail-like lumps. Changeable afternoon. One minute bright sunshine, the next deep gloom.

A friend said that the edge of this cloud at the bottom, the dark bit, looks like a man trying to kiss the telegraph pole.

A fine day with cirrus.

A warm sunny day with fair weather cumulus humilis overhead. There were seagulls soaring in the thermals above my head - didn't have my zoom lens to get a better shot. The cloud in the middle photo looked a bit like a flying pig to me.

There was so much going on in the sky today that I didn't get much work done. Every time I looked out of the window, there was another photogenic cloud.

Taken near Ipswich this morning, when the sun was forcing its way through a layer of stratus.

Can't remember what happened yesterday, cloud-wise. It's all a bit of blur, apart from writing lots of Xmas cards.
