Foggy Sunday

Bright and sunny until about 3.30pm, then watched the fog roll across the fields towards me.

Fluff

Streaks of stratocumulus breaking into cloudlets and dispersing as cold air begins to fall towards the end of the afternoon. Elsewhere, thunderstorms are forecast but none here - no rain due for a couple of days.

Sunny interval

Taken soon after noon, when there were lots of cumulus clouds coming and going. Soon afterwards, they hid the sun.

Pom-pom clouds

Altocumulus stratiformis, late morning. They didn't last long.

The end of a fine day

Fine day, mild temperature. Looks like an early spring again.

Cold afternoon

The end of a chilly day. It was sunny earlier but by 4-ish it struggled to shine through streaks of stratocumulus, with wisps of cumulus fractus in the foreground.

Wet evening

So far, the New Year has been wet, frosty and foggy - though not all at once. This was the end of a wet afternoon, seen through my window.
