Sunshine and shadow


The sun played hide and seek all afternoon. There seemed to be a pinkish tint on some clouds - an optical illusion, though not as dramatic as the iridescence I photographed in July 2008.

Fair weather clouds

A fine dry day, not too cold, no precipitation. This was taken looking east, with a wind evidently blowing the clouds north - or south?

Snow

To hear the news, you'd think we'd never had snow before. This is what it looked like late afternoon today - complete cloud cover, and starting to get misty.
