Fleeting images

It was windy at ground level, which was good for my washing, and also windy at high altitudes, judging from the speed the clouds were moving at. This was taken at about 4pm, looking west.

As I was processing the first photo (within half an hour) I happened to look out of the window (facing east) and noticed a pink blush. By the time I got outside, it had almost gone.

Nice photos. We had fairly thick stratocumulus as the sun was setting, and the bottom of it was a beautiful red for just a few minutes.

Our skies have been endlessly blue with only jet contrails for contrast. Nice to see the end-of-day pink on the clouds in your sky.
